A short film in its entirety, lasting approximately five minutes, which may be live action or animated or a combination of both, together with two of the following three options:
• a poster for the film;
• a radio trailer for the film;
• a film magazine review page featuring the film.
I chose to do this main task as my film coursework proved to be incredibly successful last year, gaining one of the highest marks in the year. I will be working with Amy Hakesly as she also produced a film last year that attained an A grade, so I think we can put our skills together and work well as a team.
We chose to do the poster for the film and a film magazine review page featuring the film as I study English Literature and so feel that writing a newspaper article would play to my strengths as a writer. Amy is also experienced in working with photoshop so a poster for the film is something she feels she could do to a high standard. Also we decided together that neither of us had any experience in making a radio trailer so the other two ancillary tasks seemed appropriate to choose.
